1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Perrymore Calendar (“the Service”, “Perrymore”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

3. Household Accounts, Roles & Security
Perrymore operates on a household structure with distinct member permissions:
Household Administrator
The primary adult user who configures the household, generates invite codes, establishes Google integrations, manages subscriptions, and administers member profiles.
Adult & Child Members
Invited family members who can view shared calendars, create events, and complete chores. Child accounts are created and supervised under the parental direction of the Administrator.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and household invite codes. You agree to notify the Household Administrator immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
Certain advanced features of Perrymore (including multi-account Gmail radar, unlimited AI briefings, vision flyer scanning beyond the 5 free monthly scans on Essentials or 20 monthly scans on Family, and calendar scheduling beyond the rolling 14-day horizon) require an active paid subscription tier (Family at £4.99/month or £44.99/year; Family Pro at £8.99/month or £79.99/year) or an authorised Founding Family Lifetime Pass (£249.00 one-off payment). The free Family Essentials tier includes a rolling 14-day schedule horizon (-14 to +14 days from today) and 5 Vision AI document & flyer monthly scans for household counter displays.
Vision AI Scan Allowances: Family Essentials accounts receive 5 complimentary Vision AI document and flyer monthly scans to trial physical paper extraction on their kitchen counter. Perrymore Family subscribers receive 20 Vision AI scans per calendar month (resetting on the 1st of each month). Perrymore Family Pro and Founding Family Lifetime Pass members enjoy unrestricted, unlimited Vision AI scans. Once scan allowances are reached, users are invited to upgrade their subscription tier to continue scanning physical notices.
14-Day Free Trial: Upgrading to a recurring paid subscription tier includes an initial 14-day free trial. You may cancel at any time during the trial period without being charged.
Statutory Free Trial Reminder (UK DMCC Act 2024): In compliance with the UK Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, commercial trial subscribers receive an automated email notice on Day 11 (~3 days before trial conclusion) confirming the upcoming subscription renewal date, recurring price, and self-service cancellation link.
VIP Beta Testing Programme: Households participating in our private VIP Beta testing programme receive complimentary Family Pro access with zero payment card requirements and zero fees. VIP Beta accounts are strictly exempt from commercial billing charges and trial expiration reminders. Upon completion of the beta programme, beta accounts transition to complimentary status with an engineering thank-you bonus of free premium time.
Beta Emergency Maintenance & Killswitch Controls: To manage cloud infrastructure costs, monitor third-party API quotas, and perform urgent system maintenance, Perrymore reserves the right to temporarily pause platform access or specific features for VIP Beta participants via automated administrative controls. During any maintenance pause, household data remains completely safe and preserved. Beta testers will receive prompt email notifications upon commencement of any maintenance pause and upon full service restoration.
Billing Cycles: Recurring subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe and renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the billing period.
Founding Family Lifetime Pass: The Founding Family Lifetime Pass is an exclusive one-off purchase (£249.00 inc. VAT where applicable) strictly capped at 500 household allocations. It grants permanent lifetime access to all Family Pro capabilities with zero recurring subscription charges.
Cancellation: You can cancel recurring subscriptions at any time through the self-service Stripe Customer Portal link in Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the conclusion of your current paid billing cycle, reverting your account to Family Essentials without data loss.
Administrative & Complimentary Entitlements: Platform superadministrators may grant promotional, evaluation, or complimentary subscription tiers directly without requiring payment card details or active Stripe billing subscriptions.
Refunds: Except as required under applicable UK consumer protection regulations, recurring subscription payments and completed one-off purchases are non-refundable once activated.
5. AI Assistive Features, Agentic Actions & Output Verification
Important Verification Notice for AI Features & Agentic Workflows
Features such as Smart Add (natural language event parsing), Ask & Add (live web search grounded date verification for school terms, film releases, and fixtures), Email Event Suggestions, Daily AI Overviews & Spoken Audio Briefings, the Gemini Vision Fridge Scanner, and the Context-Aware AI Help Assistant rely on generative artificial intelligence (Google Gemini). Generative AI is inherently probabilistic and may occasionally misinterpret text, timezones, recurrence rules, or visual items.
Distinction Between Generated Output and Agentic Actions: In accordance with foundational cloud and machine learning terms, a strict legal distinction applies between Generated Output (probabilistic text, takeaway summaries, audio dispatches, and parsed draft event parameters generated by Google Gemini) and Agentic Actions (the actual execution, creation, alteration, or deletion of calendar bookings, database entries, notification dismissals, or outbound tasks). Agentic Actions are not Generated Output. All AI features within Perrymore operate strictly under deterministic human-in-the-loop oversight in alignment with the Google Cloud Agentic AI Responsible Use Guidelines: AI workflows produce non-binding candidate drafts; you and your household administrators remain the sole final authority and supervisor responsible for reviewing, confirming, and executing any resulting Agentic Action.
All AI-generated dates, times, attendees, briefings, spoken audio dispatches, and conversational help suggestions are assistive guidance provided for convenience.
Public dates retrieved via Ask & Add (such as school half terms, INSET days, cinema releases, or sporting fixtures) are sourced from public search engines. Individual schools and councils periodically amend term dates and teacher training days; you remain solely responsible for verifying school-specific dates with your education provider.
You are solely responsible for reviewing and confirming the accuracy of calendar events (including medical appointments, flights, school deadlines, or bills) prior to relying on them. High-risk reliance (including emergency health advice, statutory legal deadlines, or unverified travel itineraries) without independent confirmation is strictly disclaimed.
Food expiry shelf-life estimates generated by the fridge scanner are indicative estimates only. You must always inspect physical food products for spoilage, allergen declarations, and packaging expiry dates before consumption.
Guidance provided by the interactive AI Help Assistant is assistive in nature; users remain responsible for confirming configuration changes, calendar schedules, and settings adjustments.
Daily AI Overview & Spoken Audio Dispatches: Morning and evening briefings and spoken audio dispatches are deterministically grounded strictly in verified calendar items, configured household work and school routines, and, for eligible tiers, user-classified Life Admin emails. In accordance with our zero-hallucination mandate, unconfirmed domestic events or external notices are excluded. Calculated travel buffers and departure times are assistive estimates based on road distance approximations, time-of-day historic internet congestion profiles, known scheduled roadworks and lane restrictions (via public transport authority open data feeds including Transport for London), and public mapping services (such as OpenStreetMap, Photon, and Postcodes.io); users remain solely responsible for monitoring live transit conditions, unexpected traffic delays, rail cancellations, road closures, and punctuality. Spoken audio dispatches provide an assistive summary and do not replace visual calendar review.
Perrymore is not liable for missed appointments, double-bookings, travel disruptions, or food spoilage resulting from AI interpretations or user-confirmed Agentic Actions.
6. Third-Party Services & External APIs
Perrymore connects with third-party services, including Google APIs (Google Calendar, Gmail OAuth 2.0), Stripe (billing and payments), and Open-Meteo (weather forecasts). Your use of these features requires continuous compliance with the terms and conditions of each respective third-party provider.
Google Integration & Beta Tester Synchronisation Terms:
Selective Calendars: When connecting a Google account, you may selectively filter and choose which family calendars are displayed on your wall kiosks and integrated into daily briefings.
Email Triage Visibility: In accordance with our Life Admin categorisation architecture, all incoming emails for your connected Google account will be processed and visible in your private family Email Triage inbox.
Pre-Release Beta Allowlisting: During pre-release beta testing cohorts, your submitted Google account email must be registered in the Google Cloud Console beta tester registry by platform developers prior to official account linking.
Apple Account & iCloud Calendar Synchronisation Terms:
App-Specific Passwords: Connecting an Apple account requires an App-Specific Password generated directly via appleid.apple.com. You must never enter or provide your primary Apple ID master account password.
Encrypted Credential Storage: Your App-Specific Password is encrypted at rest using authenticated AES-256-GCM vault security. You may revoke the credential at any time directly through Apple or by disconnecting your account within Perrymore.
iCloud Shared Calendars & Permissions: Perrymore synchronises both personal and iCloud Shared Family calendars that you select. You remain solely responsible for ensuring you have appropriate authority to view or share schedules with your household members.
We cannot guarantee continuous or uninterrupted availability of third-party APIs. If Google, Apple, Stripe, or Open-Meteo modifies their API policies, imposes rate limits, or experiences service interruptions, certain synchronisation or briefing features in Perrymore may be temporarily degraded or disabled.
7. Acceptable Use Policy & AI System Integrity
You agree not to:
Use the Service for any unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or fraudulent purpose.
Attempt to probe, scan, breach, or circumvent any security, rate-limiting, or authentication measures.
Execute or attempt adversarial prompt injection, jailbreaking, data poisoning, or manipulative prompt sequences designed to bypass AI safety filters, system instructions, or architectural guardrails.

Use the Service or its AI pipelines to generate or distribute malicious code, phishing material, social engineering lures, spam, deceptive domain impersonations, hate speech, or non-consensual imagery.
Use the Service or underlying AI capabilities in any manner that causes Perrymore or its upstream infrastructure partners (including Google LLC) to violate applicable terms, the Google Cloud Acceptable Use Policy, or the Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or proprietary model prompts of the Service without authorisation.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the servers, databases, or network connections powering the Service.
Share or distribute household invite codes to individuals outside your legitimate household.
8. User Content & Intellectual Property
Your Content & Prompts: You retain all intellectual property rights and title to the schedules, notes, tasks, recipes, photos, and input prompts you submit into the Service. Output generated by AI features is licensed non-exclusively to your household for private domestic schedule coordination. You grant Perrymore only the limited licence necessary to store, display, and process your content to operate the Service for your household.
Our Service & AI Systems: The Perrymore software, interface, custom icons, layout design, deterministic agentic workflows, orchestrations, system prompt templates, and algorithms are protected by copyright, trademark, and database rights. All intellectual property rights in upstream foundation models, Google AI Agents, and cloud platforms remain the exclusive property of Google LLC or their respective licensors.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
“As Is” and “As Available”
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF DEFECTS.
10. Limitation of Liability & User Indemnification
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PERRYMORE, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, MISSED APPOINTMENTS, TRAVEL DELAYS, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES, PERRYMORE’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF FIFTY POUNDS STERLING (£50.00) OR THE TOTAL SUBSCRIPTION FEES ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO PERRYMORE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY (OR ZERO POUNDS STERLING (£0.00) FOR USERS ON UNPAID TIERS OR BETA EVALUATIONS).
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other statutory liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
User Indemnification Obligations
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Perrymore, its founders, directors, employees, contractors, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses, or reasonable legal costs arising out of or related to: (a) your or your household members' use of the Service; (b) any breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy; (c) any violation of third-party rights; or (d) any adversarial inputs, prompt injections, unauthorised automated agent activity, or actions that cause Perrymore or its upstream infrastructure providers (including Google LLC under Section 13.2 of the Google Cloud Terms of Service) to incur third-party liability or regulatory penalties.
If you access or participate in Perrymore Calendar under an individual VIP Beta invitation code, early access preview, or pilot cohort, the following supplementary terms and complete liability waiver apply:
Experimental Nature of Beta Software: You acknowledge that beta versions of the Service are pre-release, developmental software that may contain defects, incomplete features, software bugs, synchronisation anomalies, and unannounced modifications or service interruptions.
Mandatory Agreement & Code Invalidation: Enrolment in the beta programme is contingent upon accepting the Pre-Release Beta Tester Agreement presented upon account setup. Declining this agreement will immediately and permanently invalidate the single-use beta invitation code, terminating the setup flow.
Commercial Billing Freeze-Out: During the active beta phase, beta tester accounts are granted complimentary, unrestricted access to Family Pro features without payment. Commercial Stripe billing, automated subscriptions, customer portal checkouts, and paid tier switching remain strictly disabled and frozen out for the duration of your beta tenure.
Usage Telemetry & Feedback Milestones: Beta accounts participate in automated usage milestone tracking (active usage days). You are invited to respond to periodic in-app feedback pulses (Day 3 micro-pulse, Day 7 usability, and Day 14 comprehensive review). Households maintain full autonomy over feedback popups and may defer prompts by one week (“Remind me later”) or permanently opt out of automated prompts (“Don’t ask me again”), while retaining voluntary access to provide feedback via the dedicated portal (/feedback). All bug reports, qualitative feedback, and survey responses are voluntarily submitted and assigned unconditionally to Perrymore without obligation or compensation.
No Warranty of Availability or Data Retention: The beta software is provided strictly “as is” without any warranty of continuous availability, fitness for any purpose, or data persistence. You are strongly advised to maintain secondary records of critical calendar appointments, dates, and communications.
Complete Liability Waiver: By enrolling in or redeeming a beta invitation, you explicitly waive and release Perrymore, its founders, directors, employees, and licensors from any and all claims, liabilities, costs, or damages (whether direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental) arising out of or related to your participation in the beta program, including but not limited to missed schedules, erroneous notifications, or data loss.
Nominal Consideration & Liability Cap: In consideration for complimentary access to premium Family Pro capabilities during the beta period, you agree that Perrymore’s aggregate liability to you or your household under any legal theory shall be capped at zero pounds sterling (£0.00).
Confidentiality: You agree to treat unreleased features, upcoming product roadmaps, and beta communications with reasonable discretion.
You may terminate this agreement at any time by triggering permanent account deletion in Settings → Privacy & Data Protection. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service immediately and without notice in the event of fraudulent activity, severe security threats, or any material breach of these Terms that is determined to be incapable of being cured (including deliberate prompt injection attacks, security exploitation, or severe violations of the Acceptable Use Policy).
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or related to the Service.
